The Vice-President is the second high ranking official in the institutional leadership. The occupant responds to the Executive President and assists him at the advisory as well as the implementation processes of the latter’s tasks. In particular, and in addition to the responsibilities mentioned here, the primary duty of the Vice-President includes the supervision of all the academic faculties and departments, and academic and non-academic staff functioning in the University.
The Vice-President doubles as the Director of the Institute of Languages and Literatures which also hosts the USS’s Foundation Program, unless and until he appoints a candidate suitable for the post. He also handles other responsibilities as delegated to him by the Executive President.
